Heather View and Heather Cottage are located in the quiet and peaceful village of Sway on the New Forest National Park; three miles from the town of Lymington, and five miles from the coast.
Ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs roam the New Forest freely; giving the area a truly rural atmosphere. There are many forest walks and rides to be enjoyed.
Sway village has a train station, petrol station, convenience store, butchers, hairdressers, and a surgery.
The New Forest is popular for walking, riding, cycling, golf, sailing, sea and fresh water fishing, bird watching, deer watching and the contrasting atmospheres of wooded forest, heath, Solent, open sea and beaches.

Lymington with its Georgian buildings, quay, Saturday market, marinas and access to the Solent Way coastal path is just 3 miles away.
The Isle of Wight ferry leaves hourly from Lymington to Yarmouth.
Milford on sea has a beautiful beach from which you can admire views to the Needles and the Isle of Wight.
